Know your Expert Swati Dhingra Chawla, a Postgraduate in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics(Msc.), Certified Yoga Trainer and Certified Alternate Medicine Practioner (M. D) with 12 years of broad expertise working in the field of nutrition & dietetics in all aspects of nutritional counselling, health care and medical nutrition management. She always had a strong will to change people’s mind-set about health.

Been inspired by nature and its ability to magically transform us from within, she is humbled that upon looking back to the day she began as a dietician and say for certain that till date; she has been able to assist and help more than 5000 people with a holistic natural approach.

She founded Nutrition Garage in 2019, a system (online/offline clinic) with a mission to provide a real insight and educate common people about healthy eating and lifestyle habits with holistic approach of working towards physical, mental and emotional health. Nature has the ability to repair our body in a beautiful way wherein feeding our body with right kind of fuel to let its ENGINE work is very important. Eat sustainable, Eat Safe, Eat healthy and Eat mindfully along with balancing your emotional and mental health is what Nutrition Garage- Nourishing Lives is.

Her USP is her passion to treat the root cause rather the condition, her friendly yet professional and recurring approach towards her clients even after they achieve their goals! She has handled clients from new-born to old age and excels at her counselling skills. Her objective is to invest the best of her knowledge and experience which play an important role in improving the standards of health care with CARE.

Being an expert in the field she has past experiences of working at a wellness firm Self-care, P.D Hinduja Hospital, working with Luke Coutinho as a Dietician and Lifestyle Coach, Head Research Pediatric dietician at Tata Memorial Hospital and Chief Dietician at Ranbaxy and Sun Pharma Company. She is a certified Nutrition Entrepreneur. She is also involved in conducting nutrition seminars in preschools and also have been an active judge in cooking competitions in schools, conducting health camps , health days events and workshops at various corporates and banks. Her passion for research and writing has emanated many innovative and informative articles on varied nutrition and health related topics. She has contributed as a co-author to a book on Pediatric nutrition for Tata Memorial Hospital as well alongside publishing a self-research study on Assessment of Nutritional status of children with cancer in India.

She is also currently a consultant Bariatric Dietician at Agarwal Hospital (Malad East, Mumbai). She has her own range of healthy home made food products “Flavours Of Life” and apart from this she also reviews health brands. She is a life member of Nutrition Society of India , Indian Dietetics Association (IDA) and Nutrition and Diabetic Care group of IAPEN. Swati doesn’t believe in short cut for any problem. At Nutrition Garage –Nourishing Lives, she cares about making healthy lifestyle changes. As being a Fitness freak herself she spends 1 hour daily into various forms of exercise and meditation and loves to run Marathons with 5 km and 21 km Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon and 10 km Malad Nirmal Bang walkathon run till date.
